Aug. 8 Tyler Arboretum Morning in the Fragrant Garden (FREE for members!) 10 - 11:30 a.m. Throughout the summer, members of The Philadelphia Unit of the Herb Society of America tend our Fragrant Garden. Drop in on these dates for a sensory experience and demonstration as they share their gardening knowledge and answer questions about the uses and cultivation of herbs. Take home samples from the garden. FREE with admission; no pre-registration required.

Aug. 8 Summer Sounds in the Historic District Visit Philly and PhilaLandmarks have partnered together to bring you a FREE Herbie Hancock inspired jazz concert at the Hill-Physick House **Bring your blanket and lawn chairs for a jazz concert in a beautiful city garden! Seating is limited! Enteron Delancey Street through the garden gate.**Drinks will be provided by 13th Street Cocktails. 5:30- "Gates Open" 6 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. Concert Hill-Physick House, 321 S. 4th Streeton Philadelphia.

Aug. 8 Free Summer Valley Forge Carillon Concerts at the Washington Memorial Chapel in Valley Forge Park, Outdoors 7:30 p.m. featuring music of the British Isles, Doug Gefvert, Valley Forge followed by Irish Thunder Pipes and drums, Swedesburg, PA.

Aug. 8 Wednesdays - Sunday thru Aug. 12  Summer Concerts at Rose Tree Park. 7:30 p.m.
