April 12 - May 5  JOE BORUCHOW “A Stable Genius” Exhibition Curated by Dana Crossan Opening reception: Saturday, April 14, 4-7 p.m. at the MAC Gallery 605-B W. State Street, Media, PA 19063.  Admission is free.  For Gallery hours or more information about MAC and its programs visit The most important trend impacting American culture today is arguably the increase in political polarization.  It was only a matter of time until artists weighed in on this division.  The Media Arts Council presents A Stable Genius, a two person exhibition, featuring works on paper by New York painter Alex Gingrow, and small murals by Philadelphia installation artist Joe Boruchow. They were both inspired to express their feelings about the presidency of Donald Trump which seems to have propelled many of us to our respective corners.

April 12 Tavern Talks: Law and Order, during this month’s Tavern Talk “episode” of Law and Order: Colonial Intent on Thursday, from 7 - 9 p.m. Explore the ways in which laws were enforced (or not) during the Colonial period.  Guests will get to participate in a mock courtroom scene, learn about counterfeiting and Colonial money, explore peculiar punishments administered for crimes and more! Just be warned: guests caught “breaking the law” may be subjected to public ridicule.  Tavern Talks is a monthly experience (not a lecture!) aimed exclusively for adults 21 and older that focuses on unexplored aspects of early American history and culture. Guests will experience history with hands-on activities, food and drink tastings, demonstrations, and more. Tavern Talks takes place at the Chadds Ford Historical Society’s Barns Brinton House, an historic 1714 tavern, located next to the Chaddsford Winery at 630 Baltimore Pike. Admission is $20 for non-members and $15 for members. Tickets must be purchased in advance over the phone, in person or online as space is limited. All attendees must be 21 and older.

An Out and About w/ MFL Program
Join us for a photography walk at Ridley Creek State Park while we enjoy the beautiful winter weather! A photography walk is a communal activity of camera enthusiasts who gather in a group to walk around with a camera for the main purpose of taking pictures of things that interests each photographer. 
All ages and skill levels welcome!!!
**Wear warm, comfortable clothes and good walking/hiking shoes. 
**Bring your camera, smartphone, tablet, or whatever device you want to take pictures with.
