March 7 Shining a Light on the Opioid Crisis 7 p.m. at the Springfield Township Building, 50 Powell Road in Springfield. Register to attend shiningalight-conversation.eventbrite.com. I attended one of these meetings with a friend and found it non-judgemental, informative and a sense of community that wants to help. I find that, sometimes all you have to do to improve your life is show up. Go and learn something you did not know.

March 7 Art for a Cause. Art Sale from various community artists hosted by Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union located at 3741 West Chester Pike in Newtown Square 5 - 7:30 p.m. Half of the proceed will go to support of (PRC) Pennsylvania Resources Council and the other half will go to the Newtown Square Presbyterian Church's Rise Against Hunger Event scheduled for March 11. rescheduled March 14

The Media Arts Council will showcase recent works by acclaimed Media based photographer Keith Sharp.  “Keith Sharp: Projections” will be on exhibit at the MAC Gallery 609-B West State Street, Media, PA 19063 from March 8 – April 7, 2018.
