Weekend Events August 5 and 6

Aug. 5 Honey Extraction at Historic Grange Estate 9 a.m. to noon. Honey collected will be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the historic preservation of the Grange Estate and the efforts of the beekeepers.



Aug. 5 Solar Dehydrator Construction Workshop 10 a.m to 12 p.m. at Grumblethorpe 5267 Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia. 

Aug. 5 The Eastern Pennsylvania Robotics Alliance will host the Delaware County STEM Expo at The Performing Arts Complex of Delaware County, 101 Plush Mill Road in Wallingford 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free Event.

Aug. 5 Secrets and Spies at Valley Forge National Historical Park at Washington's Headquarters Train Station 12:30 p.m.

Aug. 6 Darby Friends Monthly Meeting and Bartram Gardens welcome the public to an open house and burial grounds tour at 1017 Main St. in Darby, PA 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 



Aug. 6 Rockwood Museum in Wilmington, Delaware First Sunday of the Month Free.... Regular Admission $10. Sunday 12 - 4:00 p.m. 





Aug. 6 Sierra Club Two Mile Hike at Indian Orchard Park in Middleton Township 1:15 p.m. Hikers should take Copes Lane off Route 352. Cope Lane is about a half mile south of Glen Riddle Road. Park at the end of Copes Lane. Contact: wbrainerd@gmail.com. Open to All.
