Aug. 12 Peach Festival at Linvilla 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Raindate Aug. 13

Aug. 12 Delaware County 4H Summer Fair 8:30 - 4 p.m. at Garrett Williamson Foundation, 395 Bishop Hollow Rd in Newtown Square.

Aug. 12 Papermaking in Concord 

Aug. 12 Family Promise 2nd Annual Foodtruck Fest and Fun Fair at Our Lady of Charity 231 Upland Avenue in Brookhaven 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. to benefit Delco homeless families. Raindate Aug. 19

Aug. 12 Bonsai Gardening at Penn State Master Gardeners of Delaware County 10 a.m. to noon.

Aug. 12 American Legion Post 777 will host a "Corn Boil" from 1- 5 p.m. at 137 Walter St. in Crum Lynne. Friends, members and associates are welcome. Cost $15 for adults, $10 for children 10- 18 and free for children under 10.

Aug. 12 Equality Day Festival 1:30 p.m. - 4 p.m. at  Grumblethorpe 5267 Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia.

Aug. 12 Hand Bookbinding at Historic Sugartown 9 a.m. - 3 p.m

Aug. 12 Secrets and Spies at Valley Forge National Historical Park meet at Washington's Headquarters Train Station 12:30 p.m.

Aug. 12 Amici Opera Company presents Verdi's Otello at Stage One located at 101 Plush Mill Road in Wallingford 4 p.m. Cost is $20.

Aug. 12 Happy Hour and First Bank Tour 5 p.m. Meet at the Museum of the American Revolution Cross Keys Cafe for food and drink specials followed by an exclusive tour of the First Bank of the United States. Sign up at arrival. Tour limited to 50 people.

Aug. 12  Movie Night in Media "Back to the Future" will be shown on a giant screen in Barrall Community Park at 8 p.m. This event is hosted by the Media Recreation Board. Bring blankets and low back chairs to join in the fun, maybe a little bug spray too in case the skitters read about this event too.  Probably weather permitting too.

Aug. 12 and 13 The 10th Annual Bug Fest at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University.

Aug. 12 and 13 Truckerton Food and Brew Fest at the Tuckerton Seaport.  Saturday 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

August 12 and 13 Peach Festival and Sidewalk Sale at Peddler's Village.

Aug. 13 Family Picnic at Harold Paul Saks Amvets Post 118 located at 211 N. Morton Ave. in Morton. Price $12 for anyone over 12 and free for kids under 6.

Aug. 13 Chester Community Fair and Book Bag Giveaway 2 p.m. at BLC 501 Yarnall St. in Chester sponsored by Keystone First and Better Living Center.

Aug. 13 Bethel Township Corn Boil 4 - 8 p.m. at Bethel Springs Elementary School Field. 

Aug. 13 The Delaware County drug collection van will be at the Delco Summer Concert series at Rose Tree Park. Saturday Night music features Matt Santry and Sunday Night features Eric Clapton music by The Core.
