Jul. 9 2017 SAR Congress will announce the finalist in the oration contest. I had the pleasure of seeing Indya Rennie a finalist speak on the 4th of July at Immanuel Church on the Green in New Castle Delaware during the Let Freedom Ring Celebration. I was profoundly moved as she spoke with passion without a script. She spoke about our Founding Fathers and what made them successful at the time in comparison to France and their eminent defeat also mentioning the importance of religious freedom, the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. I wish her luck, she is a recent high school graduate, an amazing speaker, and a promising young voice for the future.

Upcoming Events: Sept. 9 Antiques, Collectible Appraisals, Sale and Show Delaware County Historical Society Fundraiser at Neumann University, Mirenda Center Complex, Convent Road in Aston, PA.
