May 18 PA's Mobile Veteran's Van at Brookhaven office of State Representative Leanne Kruger-Braneky 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

May 18 Springhouse Storytime at Newlin Grist Mill 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. members $5, non members $7.

May 18 –Spy Games Tavern Talks is a monthly experience (not a lecture!) aimed exclusively for adults 21 and older that focuses on unexplored aspects of early American history and culture. Guests will experience history with hands-on activities, food and drink tastings, demonstrations, and more. Tavern Talks takes place at the Chadds Ford Historical Society’s Barns Brinton House, an historic 1714 tavern, located next to the Chaddsford Winery at 630 Baltimore Pike. Admission is $20 for non-members and $15 for members. Tickets must be purchased in advance over the phone, in person or online as space is limited. All attendees must be 21 and older.

May 19 Powel House Garden Party at 244 South Third Street in Philadelphia 6 - 9 p.m. cocktails and Hors de oeuvres.

May 20 Chichester Historical Society HISTORICAL MARKER DEDICATION Chichester Avenue - (Between Meetinghouse and Malatesta Avenues) 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. RAINDATE – Sunday: 21 May 2017 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. The public is invited to join Upper Chichester Township and the Chichester Historical Society for the dedication and unveiling of the township’s first historical marker. This one hour event will include speakers, a photographic display of McCaysville; the Chichester Crossroads, and the unveiling of the Upper Chichester Township/McCaysville marker. Following the ceremony, Wawa will provide refreshments. This event is free and open to the public.
