May 15 Stargazing at Widener University Observatory, 5th floor of Kirkbride Hall, 17th and Walnut Streets in Chester 9:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.  

May 16 Volunteer for Philly  LOVE YOUR PARK Service Day.

May 17 Mix Media Still Life Workshop at Middletown Free Library 10:30 a.m. Register online. 

May 17 Noted architect John Milner will speak on the Historic Preservation of 1742 Square Tavern. The 1979-82 renovation and restoration will be discussed at Dunwoody Village Auditorium in Newtown Square. 7 - 8 p.m.

May 18 PA's Mobile Veteran's Van at Brookhaven office of State Representative Leanne Kruger-Braneky

May 18 is I Love Resse's Day for me every day is I Love Resse's Day.

May 18 Springhouse Storytime at Newlin Grist Mill 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. members $5, non members $7.

May 18 –Spy Games Tavern Talks is a monthly experience (not a lecture!) aimed exclusively for adults 21 and older that focuses on unexplored aspects of early American history and culture. Guests will experience history with hands-on activities, food and drink tastings, demonstrations, and more. Tavern Talks takes place at the Chadds Ford Historical Society’s Barns Brinton House, an historic 1714 tavern, located next to the Chaddsford Winery at 630 Baltimore Pike. Admission is $20 for non-members and $15 for members. Tickets must be purchased in advance over the phone, in person or online as space is limited. All attendees must be 21 and older.

May 19 Powel House Garden Party at 244 South Third Street in Philadelphia 6 - 9 p.m. cocktails and Hors de oeuvres.

May 20 Warrior's 5K Run in Media through Rose Tree Park.  The race begins at 0 a.m. combined with a Walk for Wounded Warriors. There will be a ceremony honoring.
