Mar 8 Duffy’s Cut: Dark Local History Revealed. Listen to Immaculata Professor, William Watson, tell the tale of Duffy's Cut - a mass burial site on the Main Line for fifty-seven Irish immigrants who died during the cholera epidemic of 1832. Archival and archeological research conducted over a decade has revealed the tragic lives and deaths of these Irish immigrant railroaders. 7 p.m. in the Community Room at Haverford Township Library.
