Weekend Event Nov. 19 - 20

Nov. 19 Brookhaven, PA Holiday Parade 2 p.m. dedicated to Firefighters and First Responders.

Nov. 19 Dave DeLuca of Black Tie Talent and an afternoon of classic music from the 50's, 60's and 70's at the Marple Library 2 p.m. 

November 19 Jazz by Night in Media PA 6 p.m. - 1 a.m 20 indoor stages in downtown Media.

Nov. 19 Collingdale 125th Anniversary "Dinner Dance Party" 6 p.m. at Collingdale Fire Company. 

November 19 Hand Bookbinding workshop at Historic Sugartown 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will take home a blank book they create in class, using the methods that were employed from the first century through the mid-19th century. They will hand-sew book sections (called signatures): secure the hard covers; add a lether or cloth spine, and decorate paper, to the coves; and lay down the endpapers. Participants will also be provided step-by-step written instructions they can take home. All materials included, and tools provided. Cost $75 per person/Adult, class is limited to 6 people. Nov. 19 an 20 Fresh Wreath Making Class at the Linvilla Garden Center 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. $30 Fee.

Nov. 19 and 20 Heron Crest Studios Art Along the Creek Show and Sale 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. located at the intersection of Mount and Red Hill Road.

Nov. 20 Open Hearth Cooking "17th Century Confectioner" at Pennsbury Manor 1 - 4 p.m.

Nov. 20 New Avenue Foundation Music Festival 2 to 7:30 p.m. at the Princeton Presbyterian Church located at 933 Baltimore Pike in Springfield. The concert will benefit Chester Eastside Ministries in Chester to help families with the holidays.

Nov. 20 Rose Tree Pops 2016 Fall Concert at Marple Presbyterian Church 105 N. Sproul Road in Broomall 3 p.m.
