September 15 Creating the Perfect (Colonial) Selfie Tavern Talks will take place at the Chadds Ford Historical Society’s Barns Brinton House, an historic 1714 tavern, located next to the Chaddsford Winery at 6030 Baltimore Pike. Admission is $10 for non-members and $5 for members. Tickets must be purchased in advance over the phone, in person or online as space is limited. Sign up for Myfi (Media Youth Film Initiative) at Media Youth Center, A film production class for high school students. Learn screen-play writing, acting, directing, camera operation, set lighting, sound and film editing, a 12 week course on Wednesdays 6 - 8 p.m. Course fee $195, scholarships available.
September 20 The PACRN Project:Protecting Pennsylvania's Cultural Heritage 2016 Symposium presented by Conservation Center for Arts and Historic Artifacts hosted by PEMA Emergency Operations Center in Harrisburg. Click here for more information and to register. Classes start September 21.
