Upcoming Weekend events August 12-14 2016

August 12 through October 30 Pestilence Prevails...Fever in Philadelphia at the Physick House. Mosquitoes and Yellow Fever.

August 12 - 14 Pop up Parks on Tap will be at Playing Angels along the Schuylkill River Trail in Philadelphia events include Indego Bike Share and Yoga on Saturday 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. (pay what you want)

August 13 Weekly Yoga at Lemon Hill 9 a.m. Register to participate.

August 13 Honey Bees and Native Bees 10 a.m to 12 p.m. at Penn State Extension in Springfield, registration is required $10 fee. 

August 13 Guided Hike and Meditation along Boxer's Trail in East Fairmount Park in Philadelphia 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
 

August 13 Dice, Dominoes, Dealings: 18th Century Games 11 am to 3 pm
at Morgan Log House, 850 Weikel Road, Lansdale, PA 19446. It's summer time, and we're celebrating in the old-fashioned style on August 13th from 11am to 3pm. Join 18th century re-enactors as we celebrate this festive time of the year! The inside and outside of the Morgan Log House will be transformed into hosting over a dozen period style games of chance, choice, wit, and skill. Family friendly and FREE of charge all day. Program runs 10am to 3pm. Once you have mastered a game, why not buy one of your own in our Museum Shop. 


August 13 Come to the Brinton 1704 House for the annual Family Day! They are making Their extensive genealogical database available for research. Discover some family connections you might not have known. They are also making their World Explorer membership subscription to Ancestry.com available for use. While you're learning more about genealogy, the kids can play authentic colonial games, such as Hoops, Nine Pins, and more! 1 – 5 p.m. at Brinton 1704 House and Historic Site 21 Oakland Rd West Chester, PA 19382. General Admission $8, children under 2 free

August 13 Hidden River Blues Festival at Venice Park in Manayunk. 11 a.m.

August 13 West Fairmount Park Public Art Bike Tour 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Meet at the Oval's Fairmount Park Launch (western end adjacent to Warby Parker bus). This is where the tour will begin and end.
 
August 13 Delaware Beer on Tap Festival at the Garrett-Tubman Park in Wilmington, DE 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
