Linvilla Farmers Market has gone far beyond your typical farmers market. It has a year round entertainment venue, with fresh fruit and vegetables and the opportunity to pick your own. The Linvill family purchased the farm in 1914. Sunday - Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday.
Tinicum Township Farmers Market every other Wednesday, 4:30-7:30 p.m. at Governor Printz Park. (Corner of Rt.291 and Rt. 420) in season.
Oakmont Farmers Market Havertown every Wednesday from from May 20 to August 31st 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. After Labor Day, from September 7 to November 23rd 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. It is located in the Grace Chapel Parking Lot at 1 West Eagle Road in Havertown, on the southeast corner of the Darby and Eagle Roads intersection.
Wolf's Apple House and Farmers Market located in Media on Pennell Road their beginnings date back to 1910. Monday - Saturday 9 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
The ultimate in Farmers Market is the Reading Terminal in Philadelphia. They have everything and then some. I cannot go here during any holiday, I want it all, chocolate cravers or anyone with a sweet tooth beware!
