Upcoming Outdoor Movies: Some with a Fee and Summer Free

June 21 Crozer-Keystone at Broomall, located at 30 Lawrence Road near the intersection of I-476 and Rt. 3, will host three family movie nights this summer in its front parking lot at no charge. In addition to the opportunity to watch popular feature films shortly after dusk with friends and family courtesy of an inflatable production screen, those in attendance will also enjoy free popcorn on these fun evenings. Pre-event registration is not required, and events are weather permitting. The first movie showing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 21 when "Despicable Me 2" (2013) will start at approximately 8:45 p.m. The next movie date scheduled is Tuesday, July 19 when "The Sandlot" (1993) will air at approximately 8:30 p.m., and the final movie night of the summer will occur on Tuesday, August 23 when "Inside Out" (2015) will start at approximately 8 p.m. All three movies are rated PG.

June 23 Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone with the Philadelphia Orchestra at the Mann Music Center. Tickets: $25- $85.

June 24 “M” Night at Burholme Park featuring $5 mini-golf at Burholme Golf, $5 cupola tours of Ryerss Museum, and free kid-friendly movies on the lawn by the museum – June 24 “Minions,” July 29 “Inside Out,” and August 26 “Zootopia.”;


June 27 “The Peanuts Movie” – Monday, Marconi Plaza, 2700 Broad St.

June 28 XFINITY LIVE will host The Good Dinosaur, doors open at 5 p.m. movie starts at 6 p.m. movies will be shown inside and out. Free Event Free Parking and Free Popcorn. I can't decide which free of the three I like best, they are all so appealing.

July 1 The Betsy Ross House goes retro with some old “horror” movies with a twilight tour of the House for the low cost of $5. Details are belo
The Betsy Ross House presents First Friday Movies Under the Stars and Stripes. Visitors are encouraged to bring food and a bottle of wine to watch the movie. $5 admission includes a tour of the Betsy Ross House and a movie in the courtyard.

July 9 Franklin Square, along the many other free events all summer long, is hosting free movie nights in July and August.
Franklin Square presents Saturday Night at The Movies; bring a blanket and watch a movie on the Great Lawn. Games and pre-show activities start at 7, movies begin at 9 pm. ALL FREE.
