Upcoming events the Week of April 18 through the Weekend

April 16 - 24 National Park Week enjoy free admission.  This year marks the 100th Anniversary of our National Parks. Find Your Park and get a Passport.  It is a fun way to mark your trail across the parks.

April 18 Free Rain Barrel Workshop 6:30 p.m. at Widener University. Registration is required and available rain barrels are limited.

April 18 Middletown Mondays presents "A Garden From the Third Generation of the Bartram Family" 7 p.m. at Lima Estates 411 N. Middletown Rd., Media PA free and open to the public.

April 19 It is one week away...Pennsylvania Primary, expect a call or two or five. 

April 21 Spring Opera Series at the Middleton Free Library 12 p.m. La Traviata by Verdi. 

April 21 Astronaut Tim Kopra will speak with Columbia University students Live on NASA TV at 1:10 EDT.  

April 21 Hedgerow Mystery Fundraiser at the Hedgerow Theatre 6 - 9 p.m. This year marks the 93rd Birthday of this historic theatre.

April 22 Earth Day celebrate with NASA #24Seven by taking pictures or short videos. Click here to find out How to participate on social media.

April 22 Astronomy Night part of the Philadelphia Science Festival, so many good choice locations. It is suppose to rain which can put a damper on star gazing, let's hope that science is incorrect. Astronomy Night is one of my favorite events.

April 22 - June 12 Franklin Square is celebrating its 10th Birthday this year, and to kick off the special festivities, Historic Philadelphia, Inc. will host the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival in Franklin Square from April 22 – June 12. This is BIG. Like, 200-foot-long-dragon-made-of-lights BIG.
