April 29 - 30 Providence Garden Club Plant Sale at Williamson College of Trades.
Friday 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

April 29 Behind the Scenes Tour of the new Newlin Grist Mill exhibit  7 - 8:30 p.m. Tickets $7.Reservations required. Call 610-459-2359 or email for reservations

April 30 National Take Back Initiative Day - Got Drugs? Properly Dispose of them, check the link for locations and times. 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

April 30 Bird and Butterfly Walk at Heinz 9 a.m.

April 30 The 19th Annual CRC Streams Cleanup 9 a.m. followed by a free volunteer picnic at Ridley Creek State Park.

April 30 Science Carnival at the Great Plaza at Penn's Landing 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

April 30 Container Gardening at the Middleton Free Library 2 p.m

April 30 Interested in trying Gentle Yoga? 2:45 p.m. at Middletown Free Library. Registration is required.  

April 30 Rockin’ With The Troops: A USO Show
USOFlyer1Rockin' With The Troops: USO Show, where bands play the historical classics while commemorating our veterans. The setlist features singers and groups such as the Legendary Bobby Rydell, the Original Tymes, the First Ladies of Rock and Soul, and impersonator Lynn "Wyn" Roberts playing Bob Hope, Jack Benny, and Red Skelton. Your support to this event fuels DCHS programs that educate Delaware County about the service and sacrifice of veterans.This event is dedicated to our veterans such as Dennis Murphy, John Walker, and Joe Daly.
Information: 7 - 10 p.m. Door open at 6 p.m. at Neumann University: Mirenda Center, Convent Road, Aston, PA 19014. $65 per person.

April 30 and May 1 Brick Fest Live at The Philadelphia Expo in Oaks, PA.

April 30 Center City Jazz Festival.

May 1  Finally May Day Bird Walk 8 a.m. at Heinz 1 p.m. Spring Blooms walk.

May 1 Broad Street Run 2016 starts at 8 a.m. 

May 1 Thomas Leiper House in Nether Providence opens for seasonal tours Saturday and Sunday 1 - 4 p.m. as well as many other historical houses in the Delaware County area. Check individual sites for operating hours.

May 1 Lilac Sunday  Tyler’s Arboretum Lilac Collection. Lilac walk at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Historic Lachford House open 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

May 1 Haverford Spring Music and Arts Festival Noon to 7 on Brookline Blvd in Haverford Township.
