More Events this week March 10-13

Now through March 27 The Orchid Extravaganza at Longwood Gardens. March 12 and 13 is the North American Clivia Show and I just read on their website that Nightscape will return August 3 - October 29.

March 10 Bugging Out: Bugs that Bugged the Colonists Tavern Talks will take place 7-9 the Chadds Ford Historical Society’s Barns Brinton House, an historic 1714 tavern, located next to the Chaddsford Winery at 6030 Baltimore Pike. Admission is $10 for non-members and $5 for members. Tickets must be purchased in advance over the phone, in person or online as space is limited. All attendees must be 21 and older. March 11 - 20 SXSW 2016 in Austin, Texas if you happen to be in the neighborhood. THis will be the 30th Year!  I have always wanted to attend.  It seems to be the place to be. Some year perhaps. President Barrack Obama will speak on Friday at 2:30 p.m. live streaming will be available.

March 12 Free Comprehensive Screening Event at Delaware County Regional Cancer Center located on Lansdowne Avenue in Drexel Hill. 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

March 12 and 19 Delaware County Literacy Council will hold the next free training for volunteer basic literacy tutors. for more information go to or call 610-876-4811.

March 12 and 13 Bird Walks 9 a.m. at Heinz Wildlife Refuge also Stewardship Saturday  9 a.m. at the refuge. Meet at the visitor's center.

March 12 and 13 Hayrides to Bunnyland at Linvilla begin 11 a.m. to 4 p.m

March 13 Daylights Savings Let there be light! Switch your clocks, we are moving forward.

March 13 The 2016 Philadelphia St. Patricks Day Parade, which will be held on Sunday, from 12 noon through 3 p.m., will air LIVE for the first-time ever, on Fox 29!

March 13 Selection Sunday for March Madness to be broadcast on and CBS starting at 5:30 p.m.

There must be  primary or debate somewhere. It is like the new mini-series.
