Saluting National Wildife Refuge Week

John Heinz NWR in Pennsylvania.  There is no excuse for anyone in Delaware County not to visit and appreciate this treasure in our own backyard.  We are so fortunate. It is a beautiful walk on a brisk day.  Attend a guided tour, very knowledgeable people. Bring your camera, you never know who will be flying by or perched overhead.

Bombay Hook NWR in Delaware The third Saturday of October, November, and December will be free to all visitors. Check the calendar for upcoming events. Here you see the osprey, fisherman.

Pine Hook NWR Nature Photography Exhibition. All the birds love to pose and have their picture taken, they are professionals.

Green River Seedskadee NWR in Wyoming.

Cape May NWR New Jersey

Edwin Forsythe NWR New Jersey one of my favorite spots on the Holgate side. It is such a contrast across from Atlantic City. It is one of the most peaceful places on earth. The Absecon area is much bigger and it is cool too but there is something more personal to me at Holgate.

Great Dismal Swamp NWR in North Carolina.

Swanquarter-Mattamuskeet NWR North Carolina Charles Kuralt Trail

Cape Romain NWR in South Carolina

Eastern Neck NWR Maryland
