Top 10 Things to do Week of August 17

August 18 Marcus Hook Free Concert Series. Tonight is the last concert of the season!! Performing this evening will be Charlie Gracie "a rock n roll pioneer." Starts at 7pm, bring a chair/blanket and some friends and your dancing shoes and enjoy an evening with great music!! Designer's Touch Wooden Roses will be attending along with Pure Romance Chantel , Pink Zebra, Thirty One by Amy Wothers and Michele Merrit Holloman with Long and Foster and more!

August 19 Colon Cancer Alliance Webinar: It Runs in the Family: Colon Cancer and Genetics 7:00 p.m. - 8 p.m.

August 20 - 30 Little League Baseball World Series in Williamsport, PA. Schedule.
August 20, 4 - 10 pm – SummerFestivus at Franklin Square. Enjoy some of Philly’s finest food trucks, activities, and a summer beer garden presented by Barren Hill Brewery. Admission is free, with food and beverage available for purchase from participating vendors. 

August 21 Join Yards Brewing Company at the Newlin Grist Mill 219 Cheney Road, Glen Mills for a sampling of Yards beers while they thank the volunteers of the Mill and welcome new guests to the land. They will also be handing out our Yards Bee Garden seed packets so you can help save the bees! This event is open to the pubic but you must be 21+ with a valid ID to drink. 5 - 7 p.m.
