Top 10 Plus May 9-10 Weekend Events

Tomorrow May 9 Stamp Out Hunger letter carriers across the country will be collecting food for families in need. Collect and bag non-perishable food items and place by mailbox for a letter carrier to deliver to a local food bank or pantry. * Donate items like canned meats, fish, soup, juice, vegetables, pasta, cereal, peanut butter and rice. May 9 Mothers Day Tea with Betsy 4- 5:30 p.m.Sit underneath the shady tress of the historic Betsy Ross House courtyard and enjoy delightful teas and treats at the annual Mother's Day Tea Party with Betsy! A new birding event here in southeastern PA, covering Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia provides a variety of way for birders to get involved in fun birding outings, from 1-hour walks called "Big Green Hours" to full-on "Big Day" runs right on your home turf. There are a bunch of different ways to participate. So register today or donate now to support the causes the bird race is raising funds for. Treat Mom and Grandma to a delightful brunch buffet, craft activity, and a ride on the Parx Liberty Carousel.
