April 1  LITTLE EXPLORERS TODDLER PROGRAM at Bartram Gardens 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Spring is just around the corner! April 3, 11 am - 4 pm  Enjoy a Sweet Taste of History at the Betsy Ross House Join 18th-century chocolate maker extraordinaire, Mary Crathorne, for the latest edition of the Betsy Ross House's FREE Colonial Chocolate Making series! Learn how chocolate was produced and consumed during the Colonial era and enjoy FREE samples of AMERICAN HERITAGE™ Chocolate. Be sure to stop by the basement kitchen to uncover more fascinating facts about chocolate's patriotic history at the brand-new chocolate exhibit!

April 4 Come join the Media Recreation Board for their 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4 at 11am on the grounds by the Tot Lot. The annual Easter Luncheon with the Easter Bunny will be held immediately following the hunt in the Community Center from 11:30am-1:30pm. Food, fun, and games for everyone.


Through April 4th The Easter Bunny Hops into Springfield Mall.  You can get a fast pass to see the bunny at this link. Hours are Monday thru Saturday, 10 a.m  to 9 p.m  and Sunday 11 a.m  to 6 p.m.  The Bunny will be available during all hours, according to the website, no bunny breaks.




April 4 Easter Bunny Express Hop' on board the West Chester Railroad and take a 90 minute round trip along the beautiful Chester Creek from West Chester to the historic Glen Mills village. The Easter Bunny will be on board our heated decorated train handing out treats to all passengers! During our 20 minute stop at the historic Glen Mills station there will be plenty of opportunities for you to take a brief photo with the Easter Bunny. Be sure to bring your camera!  12 p.m. - 2 p.m.


April 5 Great Egg Hunt at Franklin Square – The Hunt Is on at Franklin Square. The Easter Bunny has left lots of eggs in the Square. Kids can join the search during two hunts each for three age groups. Kids 10 and under can hop on down to the Franklin Square playground and hunt for eggs filled with candy and other surprises! FREE! Preregistration required on the day of the event, beginning at 10 am and ending at 11 am. Limited spaces available. 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Franklin Square is located at the corner of 6th and Race Streets.

April 5 Easter Parade in Philadelphia 12:30 p.m. One of Philadelphia’s oldest traditions! Hop on down to South Street Headhouse District for egg-citing FREE family fun on Easter Sunday. The parade kicks off at 12:30 p.m. at Passyunk Avenue and South Street and travels to 2nd Street Plaza. Prize will be awarded in 12 categories for best dressed kids, families and even FIDO too! I have never seen an Easter Parade, if you fall into the small category and it is on your bucket list, here is an the opportunity.  If you go make sure you put on your Easter bonnet or bunny ears will fit the bill as well.
