Top 10 Upcoming Events this Week

1. Mickey Vernon Sports Museum  is sponsoring a Veterans Day Contest. If you know the names of the living members of Baseball’s Hall of Fame that served in the military during WW II, email your answer to vankoski21@comcast.net. On November 11th (Veterans Day), a winner will be selected from all correct answers submitted. The museum has a nice surprise gift for the winner.
The Mickey Vernon Sports History Museum is located in the Granite Run Mall, on the second floor near Boscov’s, and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 4:30 pm.


2. Nether Providence Historical Society has just released a coloring book of historical places in Nether Providence.  The book is available at the Helen Kate Furness Library, Nether Providence Township Building and the Thomas Leiper House.
