Top 10 Upcoming April Events

Now through April 14th Simeone Auto Museum presents "The Best of Britain" featuring classic Aston Martin cars.

Saturday, April 6th Official Opening Day Event at the Colonial Plantation "The Best Our Pretty Farm Affords" 11 am - 5 pm, last entry at 4pm

Saturday April 6th The Mutter Ball: Mad Men and Medicine 8:30 pm.

Sunday April 7th  Spring Meeting April 7 Walt Cressler, PhD, Science Librarian at West Chester University will be the featured speaker , "Flow of History through CRC's Watersheds". Time: 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm  Phone: 610-359-1440. Location: Old Mill , Old Mill Lane, Rose Valley ( Rose Valley Road across from Hedgerow Theater. The Program is free and open to the public pre-registration is appreciated at crc@nni.com but walk-ins are welcome.

Tuesday April 9, 2013 at 8 PM at The Old Mill on Old Mill Lane in Rose Valley. Nancy Webster, Delaware County Historian, tells the story of the four main mills of Rose Valley and the culture of the mill community. Donations of $9 for Museum Members and $10 for Non-Members will be accepted at the door. www.rosevalleymuseum.org

Saturday April 13 Delaware County Environmental Fair 9:30 am to 2:30 pm  at Penn Wood High School, Lansdowne, PA. earthcarecouncil.org.

Saturday April 13, 9th Annual Daffodil Day, events include a Pancake Breakfast (8:30 - 10 am) at Glen Mills school cafeteria. Tickets will be sold at the door. House Tours of local homes built in the late 18th century through the 20th century. Advanced sales $25 and can be purchased at the Township Building. Available for $30 the day of the tour at the Pancake Breakfast, Glen Mills Train Station and the Farmers Market. Sunday April 14th, 12 - 5 pm Pathways and Ten Thousand Villages in Media, PA invite you to a shopping event from original items from artisans around the world. 10% of purchases made will go to Pathways of PA.  Check the website for other upcoming events. Congratulations to Pathways!
PathWays PA, along with two other agencies, is being recognized by Delaware County Council today Wednesday, April 3rd, for their commitment to and work towards the prevention of child abuse in our community. They will receive a "Stand for Children" Agency Citation.
